A request for cellar door hinges and additional door furniture often come our way, but the requirements for size and finishing are never the same. On the left below are two hinges requested by a private cellar. The hinges on the top and bottom carry the weight of the doors easily, but to improve the aesthetics two dummy hinges were added in between. These hinges were required in a raw steel finish.
Optional hardware is the hasp and staple (bottom right hand) barrel bolt (top right hand) and sliding bolts (left). The sliding bolts comes with a monkey tail handle and guide.
The most popular finish is black painted steel but we also accommodate plated and epoxy coated finishes in steel, brass or copper.
